Just recently moved back to Australia from Canada (I'm Canadian) husband is an Aussie. Checking out sites that have useful knowledge of ADD. I'm a mom of 3 beautiful children and have been married to a wonderful man for 8 years and I also have that wonderful thing called ADD. I'm a spontaneous and fun person who loves the bright side of life. I love life, people, culture, travelling and anything that get's my pulse racing. I've been trained and certified as a Life Skills Councellor but have never directly pursued working in that field. Though, I'm constantly looked upon for advice from family, friends and people on the bus, park bench etc, lol. I am learning about my recent diagnosis (2 years ago) of ADD. It's quite fascinating so far and I'm sure I have a lot more research on hand. My son has ADD as well. It's nice to connect with others who understand you and your daily challenges. I'm currently a stay at home mom/writer/poet/business owner.

Any good ADD or ADHD books?

Posted on July 22, 2009 at 8:29am 0 Comments

Hey I've just been reading some interesting books lately on ADD/ADHD and they are called, ADHD Grown Up - A Guide to Adolescent and Adult ADHD by Joel L. Young, M.D., as well as a really positive book that focuses on the strengths of ADHD called "The Davinci Method" by Garret Loporto. If anyone else has any great books you've read about ADHD then please post it so I and others may benifit as well.
Best Wishes.....Ronnie

Well here I go again as my blood boils. Gee whiz I could swear really loudly right now but I'd wake the kids and as such I shouldn't even be up at 3am when it's the first day back tomorrow from school holidays here in Australia. I'm not a violent person but I just lost a whole page that I typed and accidently pressed something that erased it all....guess it wasn't meant to be. Anyways it's good to find a site where others feel and share my pain....just joking I'm being over dramatic now..but… Continue
