Oh, don't feel weird, lol. I was actually telling my daughters the other day that regardless of any physical appearance, I think what attracts people, men and women, to me the most is my overall energy. My point to them was that they have that same inviting, sparkly energy that people have told me I have. So, I'm not weirded out and I totally appreciate your compliment. My "hyperactivity" is excessive chattiness so I have to have an inviting smile to draw my listeners into my web! Lol.
About your daughter, my daughter who was diagnosed 1st started meds at 7, so I don't think it's "too early" persay. But, it's a personal decision. I feel they've worked well for her, but she has other learning disabilities as well, so she still struggles. I know they've worked pretty well for me. The important thing to know is that they aren't magic, but they do help.
