Happily Seeing Susan….

I am a HUGE fan of Susan Boyle. For me, SHE is the people’s princess. She is ordinary and is finally representing all of us who, in the past, were kept from the party for not being enough.
Here she is; Plain Jane, goofy, awkward, human and PERFECT!
What a lesson to us all! Those who say cruel things about Susan are obviously very uncomfortable with that part of themselves k that is still unfolding and raw.

Rule #1 for Parenting Children with Special Needs

Okay Folks! MOST of what I discuss as The Behavior Lady is applicable to parents of any child, and this topic is no different.
If you do not take care of you, you will be in NO shape to care for your child! .You know what I'm talking about- I KNOW you do!

Any child pre-k through 7trh grade!
I will improve their social skills, ability to control their temper and deal with problems effectively and appropriately for their age!
This will give them better focus on the things that matter-school and good grades!
Keep them IN SCHOOL and learning!

About the Behavior Lady:
The Behavior Lady works with children who are Pre-K through 7th Grade, who have either serious medical conditions or emotional challenges.
She also works with any child who needs extra help, coaching, or support with homework.
She has clients ranging from general education students who need a tutor and extra help with their Math and Language Arts skills, to children with serious medical conditions, such as SMA who have to stay at home and have teachers from the school system come to them.
The Behavior Lady comes to the home and supports the students to stay on track in their grade level and keep on learning through specialized tutoring and lesson plans designed just for them.
This may require working with communication aids or some other special equipment the children may need.
Young children who have disruptive behaviors and frustrated parents are important to the Behavior Lady. Using the Behavior Lady System TM. , she gently and firmly guides the children to a sustainable and healthy relationship with family and community with the use of common sense, creativity, joy, and hope.
I have an MEd in Special Education and work with both general education students and children who cannot be served in a regular classroom setting.
Each session is one hour of grade level, according to IEP goals (if applicable) and the GA Performance Standards work or behavior coaching.
