We forgot Passover too.....hopefully God will forgive those of us with ADHD and not take it personally!!

Hi all. I'm Gina, a 43 yr old single mom who is ADHD along with her mother and uncle (we know which side of the family contributed those genes!). I have two kiddos, a son who's going to be 18 in December (if I dont commit murder first!), and a daughter who will be 13 on the 11th. BOTH kiddos are ADHD, and my son is also dx'd with ODD, and CD. All of us are also dx'd with chronic depression. Just a bit of "background"....

Hi! I'm a 42 y/o mom living in Sherwood Oregon. I am adult ADHD, as well as having panic disorder, and recently diagnosed with Fibromyalgia as well. I am a single parent to a son (almost 17) with ADHD, ODD,depression, and CD, and a daughter (12) with ADD, and chronic depression. You want a chaotic household, try ours on for size! We all three have organizational issues, my daughter is a hoarder, I'm a clutterer, and my daughter makes mess faster than we can clean it up! She refuses to clean regardless of whether I punish her, take away all priviledges, or try positive reinforcement and bribing. All three of us get individual therapy, and once a month we do a family therapy session with all of us. My son recently came home after 42 days of wilderness school in Idaho, and six months at a therapeutic boarding school in Albany, Oregon. It did help some, but he's a teenager and still full of teenager issues. I may be sending him to his dad's in California if I can't regain control over his behavior and the household. I have been on medical disability for almost ten years now, but I do some part time work as a CNA when my health allows for it. I do private duty, in home nursing care for seniors in the King City area. I'm looking forward to connecting with other Moms with ADHD and kiddos with it as well. Thanks Teri for putting up the site!
