I bought a purse organizer that I saw reviewed in ADDitude magazine called a Purseket, (www.purseket.com) . It works great. It lines all around the bottom of your purse with pockets. Now I can use cute purses that have no pockets inside with my purseket and still find things in my purse. Before I always had to buy purses with a million pockets so I didn't lose everything.
Paper or digital? What works best for you?
I have a binder with an organizer and plenty of pens that I always try to keep nearby. I always forget to move over to my PDA important numbers, but I have been trying to utilize my smartphone more these days. I don't think much works for me organization wise, but lately this binder thing has been working and my life is in better shape than it used to be at least. I'm working on it myself. I have a calender in my binder and when I remember to right down appointments and important things it works great, I've just been slacking. It's my pen holder, my calender, my important numbers and such, a doodle pad so to speak as well as my journal. I have index cards as well. I think when I get my own place it will come together more. I'll definitely need several cute organizational baskets and such when I get my place. I do better staying organized when I live on my own.
Linda, what are your thoughts about smart phones vs PDA?

Hi Terry~
I can't live without my Blackberry and computer. I sync everything between the two using gmail etc. I do however if I remember will type out and print a quick to do list for the next day the night before and put in front of me on my desk as a reminder. Handling multiple clients I have to stay organized and on task. I not only manage my time but also some of my clients as well. So, I guess the answer to the question paper or digital I have to say a combination of both. :) Before all the technology available today I used a good ole DayPlanner.

Terry, I learned the hard way...get a smartphone. I'm now forced to carry a cell phone (Sprint Instinct...very good email and navigation but lousy calendar) and my old pda until my contract expires. I know that many of us complain about missing/forgetting appointments. With the pda or smartphone you can set it up so that it automatically gives you an audible alarm for every appointment you set. All I have to do is commit to putting it in my pda. You have no idea how many times that darn alarm goes off and I say, "What am I forgetting now!" I I have the alarm go off 30 minutes prior to the appointment just in case...and then you can also "snooze" it.
I might forget my pda, but I never leave home without my cellphone, that's why I think the smartphone is really the way to go. lol..what was I thinking when I picked this phone out?
