just wondered if anyone else did. i dont mean put on running gear and go out for a run, i mean, on the school run, out with the dogs, etc, i feel the need to run, sprint, as fast as i can - have felt like this all my life - run, or get on my bicycle and pedal like crazy............... i do it less these days, as it seems less acceptable for a late 30, 40 something to run for no reason, with shopping, or children, or the wrong clothes on!!!!

well, today i ran. i am down and needed to let off steam. only trouble is i have my 2 and a half year old in the buggy, and my 3 dogs with me. before i know it i am running like the wind - high speed sprinting, it feels good.

it feels good until the buggy wheel hits a rock or summat, and the buggy stops dead and flips, and i - at great speed - somersault over the buggy onto concrete. :)

my little girl lands face down. teeth through top lip, nose blue. i have no idea what i do until later - one finger, one wrist, one elbow, one side of ribcage, one leg.

we both go to hospital. we're ok. shaken, bruised, cut, and oh so terribly guilty :(

what do you do when its all inside your head and too much :( where do you go with it? how do you make it feel better???

this didnt - now i feel terrible - i feel like the worlds worst mum, and i hurt all over.
life has been better ............ :(

I'm so sorry!! I joined a 24 hour fitness club. it was pretty cheap and its literally open 24 hours a day. Before that, I danced but now I'm too old for clubs. really. A gym is not AS much fun but with some interesting music I can make it work. I'm just starting Tai Chi, too. I'm excited about this because there's some research supporting improvements of ADHD symptoms. Chinese medicine has some interesting concepts in that arena.
