I haven't gotten myself to do anything online with photography as I'm not very computer literate. I have a bin full of my photo's. I do have one photo album where I put some of my favorite nature photo's. There for a long time I printed duplicates of my photo's so I could share some of them with others, but most are in my bin. I also have photo's I've taken of some of the same things. I guess I should somehow sort through them and keep only the best of those pictures and the negative. I'm not really sure how to organize my photo's & their negatives. When I think about dividing them into catagories I get frustrated because I want the negatives in case the pictures have problems and need to be reprinted. Many of the negatives have both nature & people on the same film. Anyone found any solutions to this problem.

I'm not into scrapbooking. It looks nice but to much effort for me. I would like to put pictures into albums in just a simple manner  like I did my nature picture album, my my concern is with the negatives like I mentioned above otherwise it would just be albums of hogpoge ....then again maybe I should do that keeping the pictures I took on a roll together. I will only look at the photo's if they are in albums, otherwise they are no use in the bins. ~ Marr

Maybe you can number the negatives and the pictures in some way so you can keep the negatives in one box and put the pictures in albums? You can even buy sleeves for putting the negatives in the back of your albums like these: http://www.calumetphoto.com/1/1/38311-film-lok-35mm-clear-slide-pag...
I am in the process of doing this. There are many companies that will scan all of your printed photos onto a DVD and send them to you. The only sorting you need to do before sending them in is put into folders you want to have them in on the DVD and later, if you want to copy them, your computer.

The one I am using is scancafe.com and what I like about them is once they have them scanned, they put them up on their website for you (privately) and you can ditch up to half without paying for the scanning. See what you think.
