Are you taking any meds for your ADHD? That will help you alot. Not just because it is known to suppress appetite, but I have the opposite issue, I am a recovering bulimic/anerexic and although the medication does suppress my appetite, I do seem to eat better and wiser without feeling overwhelmed with disecting food!

Ok, I know I am not the only one . . . I need help with getting grips on myself and food. I have been diagnosed with diabetes and it is so weight related. I like to say I do not have to be dead to know I am not doing things right, but getting in control of my eating has been an ongoing problem. I am having great difficulty finding professionals to be part of my treatment team who have any understanding of ADHD. I know how to eat healthy, but I continue to make bad choices. HELP!
How about your 4 yr. telling u to remember to turn off the bath water? That was my favorite! I went in to check in on my girls and i did not turn off the water. My girls thought that it was the funnest thing ever! :) So now they remind me! Ha ha
For a laugh...
Was leaving the office... last one out. Couldn't find my cell phone. Called it. Sounded like it was coming from "over there". Went there. Not there. Did this like five times until I found it in my back pocket. I laughed out loud.

Went shopping at lunch break. Got home at the end of the day. As I walked past my mom on the phone... at the same time she tapped me gently on the leg and pointed to the seam on the outside of my pants accompanied by a good natured grin... I proceeded to lift up the back of my shirt and she just started cracking up when she saw the tag of my pants... on the outside! It was a good laugh. Thank goodness they were dark colored and my shirt covered the tag! (I worked at a bank at the time... that would have been just a bit embarrassing)

Mom put her hand in the pocket of my t-shirt... that was on my back! She asked if it was a new "look". Another crack up session ensued.

Silly, silly us!
I could probably write a book on all my humorous ADHD moments. My kids just look at me and shake their heads. Not too long ago I was looking all over for my cell phone and started asking my kids if they had seen it. I found it. I was talking on it with a friend.
lol. Yep, done that. Have you ever looked high and low for your car keys... in a hurry... just to discover that they are in your hand? Oh my... I scare myself sometimess!

Several years ago I was a school librarian and was in desperate need of a cup of coffee. I had a pot in my office and had just started a fresh pot one morning. However, my impatience for caffeine caused me to slip my cup under the brewing device so that I could get a quick cup.

It was brewing fairly slowly, so in my mind I thought I had enough time to run next door and ask a quick question. Thirty minutes later I came back to find a pot worth of coffee on the carpet.
